Keeping to theme I would add Feser's 5 proofs of God and Reid Henrichs American Rifleman (Ranger handbook but for retard militia)

It's basically a firearms training book specifically for infantry/small arms. Optics, slings, training exercises, etc. It's helpful. Ranger handbook deals more with squad tactics and actual "activities" such as recon

When you read the divine comedy what translation did you read? I'm reading the longfellow translation right now and it's a hard read, he translates very literally and also in a very poetic dialect which kind of reminds me of shakespeare (many archaic words as well). I honestly might consider switching to a more prose-centered translation for Purgatorio and Paradiso.

My uni professor was a “Dante scholar” so we read his translation. He was really invested in the rhyme scheme and couplets
